The Application process established by the government for Antigua CIP involves several steps. Understand the Antigua citizenship by investment application clearly documented below.

First Step: The first step is to hire authorized/licensed agent (AA). All applications under the Citizenship by Investment program have to be made through an authorized/licensed agent.  They will provide you with their expert guidance, explain the application process in detail, and assist you in preparing your application and associated documentation. AA’s are able to pre-screen applicants prior to submission 

The CIU unit will not directly engage unauthorized persons or public.

  1. Preparation of documents: We will help you to prepare the list of documents needed with the application forms.
  2. Review: Send the documents to the licensed agent who will review all the documents including basic KYC/DD check.
  3. Document Submission: Completed via a licensed agent (us) filing to the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU). Incomplete and missing documents wont be accepted.
  4. Due Diligence Review: Background checks and supporting documentation review.
  5. Approval in Principle: If cleared, you receive an approval letter. If you are refused, you will lose only agency fee and due diligence fee. You wont pay the investment.
  6. Investment Execution: Make your selected investment within 3 months.
  7. Interview: Attend a virtual interview with the authorities.
  8. Oaths – Take an Oath of Allegiance
  9. Citizenship: Once confirmed, and obtain official citizenship certificate.
  10. Passport: Passport application will be filed by authorized agent with the immigration office, later can be picked up at nearest Antigua consulate or through the agent.
  11. Renewals – Passport can be renewed personally in Antigua or at consulates worldwide paying a small fee. (You must have visited Antigua for 5 days as a condition to renew)

Note: The Authorities may monitor your good conduct from time to time post granting citizenship. If you are involved in illegal activities, passport can be revoked.

Timeline: Processing is usually 4–6 months, depending on the route and completeness of documentation.
