Antigua and Barbuda Passports are issued to Citizens of Antigua and Barbuda in accordance with the Immigration and Passport Act, 2014.
Antigua Passport Office
The Passport Office reserves the right to request additional information during the application process. The application process will take approximately three (3) weeks. Emergency processing is also available, and applicants can get their renewal in three to five business days at an extra cost.
Travel Freedom
The Antigua and Barbuda passports of 25 April 2025, Antiguan and Barbudan citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access (including eTAs) to 152 countries and territories, ranking the 25th in the world in terms of travel freedom according to Henley.
A passport is an easily recognized travel document that identifies you and authorizes travel. A citizen of Antigua and Barbuda requires a passport to enter all countries other than OECS Countries such as Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. A driver’s License or any other issued Government Identification with your place of birth may be used to travel to OECS Countries other than a passport.
Citizenship by Investment
The passport under the citizenship-by-investment program issued is initially valid for 5 years. To renew the passport after 5 years you must have met 5 days residency requirement, during previous 5 years. The number of days spent can be continuous or with breaks.
Antigua is really beautiful with white beaches and we support the Govt requirement that you should see the beaches atleast once, spending 5 days in Antigua (creates genuine ties to the country). Antigua has excellent flight connections from US, UK and other parts of the world.
The Antigua passport can be renewed easily after 5 years by paying a small approx $250 fee at any nearby consulate or visiting Antigua immigration office.
It takes 3-6 months to receive your passport and it can be picked up at the embassy or in Antigua.
