Application Steps
The application process for Antigua citizenship by investment program goes through several stages with meticulous planning.
1. Pick the investment routes.
Two popular options are donation or real estate investment. Compare the costs. Do your research and select the right option that suits your budget.
2. Understand expected total costs
The total costs involve several additional costs above investment such as due diligence fee, application fee, agency fee, government fee etc.. You can also use our online calculator
3. Decide on Family members
Note: Additional fees apply for inclusion of spouse, children, parents, siblings which depends on age. Quotation cannot be generated without knowing exact age and relationship of family member. Provide this information to your agent.
4. Appoint licensed representative
Authorized representatives appointed by CIP unit will provide expert guidance, explain the application process in detail, and assist you in preparing your application and associated documentation. will engage with a licensed agent based in Antigua and Barbuda who will review your application and arrange to submit in person along with the required payments due. The agent will act as your point of contact with the CIU and they will be advised of the decision outcome of all applications.
5. Gather forms with necessary documentation
We will provide all the application forms and list of supporting documents required. Arrange them from your side or have a lawyer do it for you if you can hire one. We will help you with preparing all the documents. All documents have to be apostilled and translated.

6. Pay initial fees
You are required to pay due diligence fee and agency fee for the application to be submitted to the authorities for a decision. No investment required at this stage.
7. Background checks
The agent and authorities will do a KYC, AML and security check on your application including main applicant and all family members.
8. Approval in Principle
Upon passing all checks, you will be issued a letter of approval by CIU unit.
9. Make the Investment
At this stage you are required to make the full investment and any other balance payments.
10. Interviews
You will be required to attend virtual or online interview with authorities to confirm your identity and answer why you are applying for citizenship in Antigua. All applicants aged 16 and older will be required to attend a mandatory virtual interview.
11. Citizenship
Citizenship approval letter will be issued upon confirming all payments are made.
12. Oath Ceremony
You are required to appear for oath swearing ceremony virtually in front of oath officer. You can also do this visiting Antigua.
13. Passport
Passport is issued as final stage can be picked up at consulates or the appointed agent will deliver to you. The passport is issued for 5 years. To renew it further, you must have spent 5 days in Antigua .
